Did you sign up to get your September Paper Pumpkin kit last month? You'll be able to surprise your trick or treaters with these cute and quick spooky treat bags!
If you don't have lots of trick or treaters coming to your door or a classroom or nursing home that would appreciate 24 treat bags, here are some alternate cards you might want to send to family and friends for Halloween.
For this less than scary ghost I've stamped spiders all over the card in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. The spiderweb in the corner was drawn with a Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker®. Do you recognize the tombstone? It's the tag from the kit with the scalloped end. I sponged the white side in what else - Gray Granite Classic Ink and used the Labeler Alphabet stamps in black for the RIP.
Rather than draw your own spider web use one of the treat bags. I took a 2-3/4" x 4" piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock and wrapped a cut down treat bag around it attaching it in the back. The background of the Gorgeous Grape cardstock is stamped in Gorgeous Grape Classic Ink. The stamp is from the October 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit.
This ghostly card has been given even more shine using our Frost White Shimmer Paint. Just put a dime-sized puddle on a plate and dab a thin layer on a sponge dauber and apply it directly to your stamps. It cleans up easily. You can also add a drop or two of ink refill to the paint and create custom shimmery colors.
And finally, I've cut remnants of spider webs from the treat bag I used earlier and attached them with the glue dots from the kit in opposite corners. I stamped the "Boo" twice, offsetting the second stamping to create a shadow. This time the pumpkins have Basic Black cardstock behind them rather than the metallic paper and I've sponged a 2-1/2" x 4" piece of Basic Black cardstock with the Frosty White Shimmer Paint. I used the Detailed Trio Punch to create the tombstone corners.
