Thank you for joining me for this month's Stampin' Up! demonstrator blog hop. Once again we've got representation from across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. This month's theme is travel or scrapbook page. I decided to do both and feature the Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper (SDSP) and the Broadway Lights Framelits Dies.
Last fall I took a trip to New York City to visit the Downton Abbey Exhibition. The recreations were so authentic I wanted to sit down with Carson, Mrs. Hughes, Mrs. Patmore, Anna, Bates, Thomas, Daisy and the rest of the Downton staff to gossip about what was going on in the house that day. You can see more photos from the Exhibition if you click on the album in the lower right sidebar.
I used the Broadway Bound SDSP for the backdrop of my photos as well as using it to cut out the numbers for the year and for the border on the marque from the Broadway Lights Framelits Dies. I reduced the size of a flyer I picked up at the event to fit into another marque and added Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewels for Broadway lights. I used another of the Broadway Lights dies and Gold Foil to add accents to the corners of the photos and the circle from the dies is layered with the smallest circle from the Stitched Shaped Framelits Dies to highlight "NYC".
The titles were stamped using the Make a Difference stamp set and hand cut with Paper Snips.
