I'm not one for making simple cards but I'm finding I need to start doing more of that as I don't seem to have the time I used to have, as my business is growing. It isn't easy for me. However, I think I've hit the mark on this card.
It uses the World's Best Trophy stamp set and a couple of dies from the Layering Circle Framelits. Here's how:
- 4 1/4" x 11" Thick Whisper White (or 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, if you prefer)
- 4" x 5 1/4" Lemon Lime Twist
- 2 1/2" square of Island Indigo
- 2 1/2" square of Whisper White
- Lemon Lime Twist
- Island Indigo
- Layering Circle Framelits
- Rhinestone Basic Jewels
- Stampin' Dimensionals
Here's another simple card I made with this set.
Now - this was the card that made me realize I needed to simplify my work. I had the idea in my head and just had to make it.
I used the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack for the trophy case and table top. The case detail at the bottom was punched with the Pretty Label punch and the piece was added to the top. There is a piece of Window Sheet between the trophy and the case front. I finally was able to get a photo without a reflection but now you can't tell there's anything there. Go figure!
